NASA launched Gemini X, the tenth spaceflight of the Gemini program.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The mission’s primary objectives were to try and dock with an uncrewed spacecraft in Earth’s orbit to further advance NASA’s capabilities of docking with other spacecraft. The spaceship was crewed by just two astronauts, John Young and Michael Collins, the latter of which would later pilot the Apollo 11 command module. The mission was a complete success, with Collins even getting a chance to become the first person to spacewalk twice.\r\n\r\n
