Researchers in South Korea developed a tattoo that monitors a person’s health.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The non-invasive “tattoo” applied on the skin is integrated with a wireless chip that will then be connected to an electrocardiogram (ECG) device or other biosensors. The goal was to alert the patient of any potential health issues.\r\n\r\n

Four days previously, the United States declared that it would send artificial satellites into Earth’s orbit. This prompted the USSR to announce that it would do the same, and the race began. The space race ended just shy of twenty years later when the Soviet Union collapsed. The newly-formed Russian Federation agreed to peacefully work on future space ventures with the United States and its allies.\r\n\r\n
